Tractor Driving

Take your tractor operating skills to a new level! Drive a tractor through an obstacle course!

Participants drive a tractor around a designated course demonstrating their ability to avoid obstacles while completing the event. There is also a written exam.

  • NY Contest Description: All contestants must have completed the tractor certification and the advisor will be asked. This contest is not a national level event. The winner of this event goes on to compete at the Eastern States Exposition in Springfield, MA. Students must wear an FFA shirt. Participants will be expected to complete a written test; identification of parts; and two driving courses where students will drive the tractor with a 2-wheel wagon and the tractor with a 4-wheel wagon.
