Develop an Argument on a Controversial Agricultural Issue

Participants in the Agricultural Issues Forum CDE research the pros and cons of an agricultural issue and present their findings and theories to a panel of judges. The event helps students to develop critical thinking, problem solving, and formal communication skills.

  • Age Range: Grades 9-12
  • Competition Venue: Districts, Sub-States, and State Convention
  • Contest Coordinator: Jessica DeVries - jdevries@uvstorm.org
  • NY Contest Description: The public presentations requirement needs to be completed by State Convention and will not be counted against teams at any of the earlier levels.
