The Sub-State Competition is a regional contest where District winners compete. Eleven Career Development Events take place at this venue, with winners advancing to compete at the New York State Convention.

In order to move on in these contests, students must have competed at the District level.

• Agricultural Issues, Job Interview, Jr. Creed Speaking, Jr. Extemporaneous Speaking, Jr. People in Agriculture, Jr. Prepared Public Speaking, Parliamentary Procedure, Sr. Creed Speaking, Sr. Extemporaneous Speaking, Sr. People in Agriculture, Sr. Prepared Public Speaking.

Dates:

• The Sub-state level of competition generally takes place in late March or early April. This year, sub-state competitions will take place on March 31st, 2012 at the below-mentioned locations.
