Lyndsay_SnyderWhat got you started in FFA?

My two older brothers both were FFA members, and as I grew older and saw the experiences that they had within the FFA, I was hooked! I love my family farm and everything that agriculture has to offer, and when I learned that FFA is an agriculture based organization, I HAD to be a part of it! I became a FFA member so I could express my love for agriculture and take advantage of all the available leadership opportunities which would help me greatly in my future.

Favorite FFA Experience:

One of my favorite FFA experiences was learning how to show dairy cattle my sophomore year in high school with my schools FFA chapter's co-advisor. Now, showing dairy cattle is my number one hobby!

Favorite Thing about FFA:

My absolute favorite thing about the FFA is going on trips and meeting people who are just like me and have a deep passion for agriculture and leadership as I do! I love the FFA because everything that we do within the organization is so much fun!

What are you looking forward to the most as a State Officer?

During my year as a state officer, I am most looking forward to growing my abilities to serve the members as my year progresses. I am excited to meet FFA members from all over New York State, and express my love for agriculture to people, and learn of all of the different pieces of agriculture within New York! I am entirely thankful to be serving as a state officer for an organization which encompasses my passion!
