In Depth Description of SAE Area:
Diversified Horticulture involves FFA members who produce, processing and marketing plants used for a variety of purposes including ornamental, fruits, vegetables and even aesthetic purposes. In order to successfully complete this Supervised Agriculture Experience FFA member's SAE must encompass two of the following areas: floriculture, nursery operations, turf grass management, landscape management, fruit production, vegetable production, viticulture (grapes), pomology (fruit trees), horticulture fruits and vegetables!
